Official Moo Duk Kwan® Dan rank certifications are very highly regarded credentials with a reputation spanning the globe since 1945.
The Moo Duk Kwan Dan Bon is one of the most unique attributes of Moo Duk Kwan rank certification.
In the USA, Moo Duk Kwan® Dan rank certification is only available to students of certified instructors with membership in good standing in the United States Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan Federation®.
Students interested in applying for Official Moo Duk Kwan® Dan Rank certification may do so when their Certified Instructor notifies them they are eligible to do so.
Certified instructors notify students when they are eligible to test for Dan rank and then conduct rank proficiency examinations for students and successful students are recommended to test for Dan Rank at Regional Dan tests conducted by Regional Examiners twice a year in the USA Federation.
Afterwards, Regional Examiners submit Dan rank recommendations to Kwan Jang Nim H.C. Hwang via the Technical Advisory Committee through National Member Headquarters.
Official Moo Duk Kwan® Dan rank certificates are only issued for Dan rank recommendations approved by the Kwan Jang Nim.

The Moo Duk Kwan® Gup rank certification process follows the same rigorous standards and has the same integrity as Dan rank certification processes and Ko Dan Ja rank certification processes.
Official Moo Duk Kwan® Gup rank certificates are only issued through Moo Duk Kwan® certified schools for rank recommendations approved by the Kwan Jang Nim.

Moo Duk Kwan® Teaching Program Certification
Serious practitioners who desire to support the promulgation of Soo Bahk Do® beyond their personal rank advancement can become Certified Instructors and provide instruction to the public by applying for commercial license as a Certified Teaching Program Leader.
Typically, the goals of Certified Teaching Program Leaders (CTP) differ from those of Certified School Owners.
The Certified Teaching Program license is popular for startups and schools with less than 20 students.
The benefits are less than a Certified School license.
The license allows the holder to commercialize Soo Bahk Do® instruction in their market area.
