Frequently Asked Questions

School Test Pilot Program

  • What is the primary intent of the School Test Pilot Program?

The School Test Pilot Program is intended to test a localized delivery model for membership kits and Gup Rank certificates using new online services

  • What are the targeted outcomes of the Test Pilot Program?
    https://soobahkdo.us/schools/making-membership-fun/
  • Who can apply to participate?

Read a summary of the program and submit your application here:

    https://soobahkdo.us/schools/test-pilot-application

  • What will the participation experience be like for a school?
    • When we launch, you'll receive as many pre-packaged membership kits as you request
    • You will also receive a supply of Gup pins and serial numbered Gup certificates for printing locally using the online group test application and certificate generator.
    • Students who register online will be provided with a 60-day free trial membership that will autorenew as a paid membership unless cancelled
    • Students will still have other membership options
    • Students who register online will be issued a gup number instantly
    • You can present them with their membership kit as soon as you receive email that they have registered
    • Students can be tested at one month for 9th gup and those who are registered will appear in the school owner dashboard group test form,
    • Instructor enters scores and rank recommendations and then prints serial numbered Gup Certificates locally

This is the current concept and envisioned workflow pending group input and adjustments.

This will be a total paradigm shift for the Federation Gup Rank certification process and your input would help shape this new model for those who desire to employ it.

  • Is the request for me to log in part of the selection process?

    Yes.

  • I logged in but remained on the same page. Is that expected?

    Yes.

Selected schools must be able to log in so making sure you can login activates your account and gets that out of the way, so we can proceed.

School Owner Portal

  • Having 2 locations, will that be an issue with my portal or does it automatically separate them?

Initially, a single login email address may be associated with a single Certified School ID.

However, as development proceeds we could allow multiple Certification IDs to be associated with a single email so school owners with multiple schools can select the school they want to interact with after login.
