Official Moo Duk Kwan® Gup rank certifications are very highly regarded credentials with a reputation spanning the globe since 1945.
The Moo Duk Kwan® Gup rank certification process follows the same rigorous standards and has the same integrity as Dan rank certification processes and Ko Dan Ja rank certification processes.
Official Moo Duk Kwan® Gup rank certificates are only issued through Moo Duk Kwan® certified schools for rank recommendations approved by the Kwan Jang Nim.
Official Moo Duk Kwan® participation certificates confirm that a member participated in an event or special activity and entitle recipients to receive credit towards future rank advancement requirements on their permanent member record.
Official Moo Duk Kwan® participation certificates are only issued by Moo Duk Kwan® certified officials for endorsed events.

US Federation membership includes Gup rank certification credentials when students pass an examination conducted by their instructor and are recommended by their instructor for rank certification.
In the USA, Moo Duk Kwan® rank certification is only available to students of certified instructors with membership in good standing in the United States Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan Federation®.
Students may apply for Official Moo Duk Kwan® Gup Rank certification when their Certified Instructor notifies them they are eligible to do so.
