Please Book Through The Federation's Group Block
The Federation contracts for a certain quantity of rooms to be booked by members at our group rate in order to produce the National Festival and provide the amount of function space and amenities required to host the event for members, The Federation’s contract liability with the hotel will only be satisfied when a specific number of members book reservations through the Federation’s group block rather than via other means.
For example, booking outside the group block might save $20 a night on a room, but the Federation could end up paying $179 a night for an empty room that we contracted to pay for and which is empty because someone booked outside the block to save $20 a night. Please help support the event with your hotel reservation through the group block.
We understand that you may have credit card perks, airline miles, online hotel bargain packages, etc. that you might be able to use for a hotel room at the National Festival, but these alternative booking options do not support the event as do reservations booked through the Federation’s Group block.

When all the rooms in the group block are reserved, then those seeking to make reservations may incur higher rates if a room is even available at the hotel, so book early before the block is sold out.
