The United States Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan Federation® is the official USA home of the Moo Duk Kwan® martial art schools founded in 1945 by Hwang Kee and his “Living Art” of Soo Bahk Do®.
The only legitimate Moo Duk Kwan® authorized sources of instruction for his Soo Bahk Do® martial art system are the U.S. Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan Federation, the Soo Bahk Do Institute and authorized World Moo Duk Kwan entities.
The U.S. Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan Federation® / U.S. Tang Soo Do Moo Duk Kwan Federation® is a national 501(c)4 non-profit martial art membership organization with national member headquarters located in Springfield, New Jersey and chartered to promote the public recognition of, understanding of, and practice of the Soo Bahk Do® martial art system as taught in Moo Duk Kwan® certified martial art schools.
The U.S. Federation was formed in 1975 by practitioners who had a concept of unity in mind. This concept is read aloud by the Board Chairman at every meeting of the Board of Directors to inform Board actions and decisions.
Several classes of Federation membership are available as well as online technical resources, official educational text books, business resources for instructors, teaching program leaders and school owners, and many other items that are available to members and non-members.
